Jet Airways-Kingfisher Airlines Pact Kicks Off Sep 13

The code sharing between the two major airlines in India, Jet Airways and Kingfisher Airlines has started this July. The infrastructure and code sharing can decrease Kingfisher’s operational costs by 20-30%.

Jet Airways Konnect Introduces New Flights Sep 10

…thanks to two more Boeing 737 aircraft

Jet Airways Konnect will expand its services on board with the deployment of two additional sophisticated, next generation Boeing 737 aircraft, to include sectors connecting Mumbai with Rajkot and Bengaluru with daily flights. The services will be commencing from July 7th, 2009. There will be similar services from Jet Airways Konnect from Delhi to Indore and Bhopal, Indore and Bhopal and Mumbai and Delhi, all of them offering daily flights.

The two Boeing 737 aircraft is a 135 seater specially configured for Jet Airways Konnect. So with the deployment of the two Boeing 737-700, Jet Airways Konnect has up to 19 aircraft(10 ATRs and 9 Boeing 737s) with the total daily flights to more than 125.
