Jet Airways-Kingfisher Airlines Pact Kicks Off Sep 13

Jet Airways and Kingfisher airlines have started sharing infrastructure at domestic airports, which include Mumbai and Delhi. The code sharing between the two major airlines in India, Jet Airways and Kingfisher Airlines has started this July. The infrastructure and code sharing can decrease Kingfisher’s operational costs by 20-30%.

The code sharing should particularly work to the benefit of both the airlines because of high fuel costs, parking charges and landing charges. The move should benefit both the airline companies as well as passengers.
