Virgin Atlantic starts flights to Puerto Rico Jul 16

Recession is no barrier for one of the fastest growing airlines in the UK. Virgin Atlantic has recently announced plans to start flight services between London Gatwick and Puerto Rico. This will fortify the air carrier’s presence in the Caribbean.

British Airways’ Luxurious new Lounge opens with Fanfare Jul 13

British Airways’ comfortable new lounge for premium passengers and top tier Oneworld members opened at London Heathrow’s Terminal 3 on May 11. The 300-seater Galleries Club Lounge is for eligible customers travelling to Madrid, Barcelona, Lisbon, Helsinki, Vienna and Malaga. There are plans to open another dedicated 250-seater lounge for customers travelling in First Class to long haul flights to Singapore, Bangkok and Sydney, later this year.

American Airlines will be using Boeing 757 international aircraft on trans-Atlantic flights.
